App Air4 Home Privacy Policy

SILCA SpA, with registered office in Vittorio Veneto (TV), Via Podgora, 20, email info@silca.it as Data Controller of personal data processing (hereinafter referred to as "Data Controller"), issues this Statement in compliance with European regulations and Italian law on the protection of personal data.
The Data Controller has appointed a Data Protection Officer (DPO), which the interested party may contact by writing to the following address: data.protection@silca.it

Purpose of the processing and legal basis
The Owner will process the personal data of the User for the following purposes:
a) allow the download and activation of the Air4 Home APP;
b) diagnose problems in the Air4 Home APP;
c) investigate and respond to any comments or complaints that the User may send;
d) detect, prevent or otherwise deal with fraud, technical or security problems and piracy by helping to protect the User;
e) exercise the rights of the Owner.
The legal basis of the processing is the need to ensure the installation and proper functioning of the Air4 Home APP or to fulfill a legal obligation.
For the sole purpose of pursuing the above SILCA, through APP Air4 Home - will be able to handle the following data:
a) essential data for user identification (eg email ...);
b) data necessary for the creation of the user's access profile (eg username, password, email, ...);
c) essential technical information for the installation and correct operation of the Air4 Home APP (eg: type of device used, operating system installed, status update, etc ...);
d) photos and location data
e) data relating to the use of the Services obtained during the use of the services by the User (eg specific functionalities used).

Data retention period
The Data Controller will process the data for the time strictly necessary for the pursuit of the aforementioned purposes. After one (1) year without the user having used the Air4 Home APP, the data will be deleted irreversibly.
The download of the Air4 Home APP is voluntary and at any time the User can uninstall it or modify the permissions and authorizations so that personal data such as geolocation are no longer recorded.

Provision of data and consequences on non-conferment
The provision of optional data but is necessary for the provision of the service. Refusal to supply does not allow the installation and use of the Air4 Home APP.

Recipient categories
The Data Controller will not disclose the data, but intends to communicate them to internal figures authorized to process on the basis of their respective duties, as well as to the following categories of external subjects:
- employees and collaborators of the Data Controller, in their capacity as authorized processors and / or system administrators;
- third-party companies or other subjects (suppliers, hardware and software assistance engineers, professional offices, etc.), who perform outsourcing activities on behalf of the Data Controller as data controllers.
Those recipients, if they were to process data on behalf of the Data Controller, will be appointed as data controllers with a specific contract or other legal document.

Data transfer to a third country and / or an international organization
Personal data will not normally be transferred to non-European third countries or international organizations. However, for reasons strictly linked to the pursuit of the aforementioned purposes, some personal data of the interested party may be transferred to Switzerland which, as decided by the EU Commission, guarantees an adequate level of data protection.

Rights of the interested parties
The User has the right to ask the Owner to access their personal data and to correct them if they are inaccurate, to delete or limit their treatment if the conditions are met, to oppose their processing for legitimate interests pursued by the Data Controller, and to obtain the portability of personally provided data only if subject to automated processing based on consent or contract. The User also has the right to revoke the consent given for processing purposes that request it, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing carried out until the moment of revocation.
The user also has the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority on the subject, Guarantor for the protection of personal data.
