Silca rewards employees with 1.150 euro

VITTORIO VENETO,

A successful year: participation paid off

The bonus assigned to Silca employees for the fiscal year July 2013-June 2014 amounted to almost 1.150 euro.
The Vittorio Veneto-based company, which is part of the Swiss multinational Kaba and is specialized in engineering and manufacturing key blanks and key cutting machines, employs approximately 1.300 workers in Italy and in its overseas business units in the US, Colombia and India. The reward is the highest in the past five years and was reached thanks to a result that exceeded by far expectations, both in terms of product quality and company profitability, explained the management.
Broadly speaking, in the companies located in the area around Vittorio Veneto negotiations between trade unions and companies of the mechanical sector have led to successful deals and yearly bonuses for employers ranging from 800 to 1.300 euro pre-tax.
“Starting from this positive result, Silca has set even more ambitious goals for the fiscal year which has begun”, said Stefano Zocca, managing director of Silca SpA and chief operating officer of Kaba’s Key Systems division, paying his compliments to employees. “The secret to improve and to get out of the crisis lies in the commitment and courage that workers show at every challenge, developing new skills, building up talents and bringing innovation in a field that people may define overstocked, but that has been able to offer employment, income and an example of Italian excellence abroad”.
