Europe’s talented youth meet in Vittorio Veneto

They are all twenty-something, they speak well English and are highly motivated in investing in their professional future. This is the profile of the 45 young people selected among over 200 candidates from all over Europe to participate in the Talent Campus International Edition, the ground-breaking project dedicated to talented young people, organized by the Youth Program of the Vittorio Veneto municipality with the contribution of the Social Policies Department of the Veneto Region.
From 6 to 9 March, the selected young people will be hosted in Vittorio Veneto and will have the chance to participate in workshops, meetings, work groups led by forefront managers, start-uppers, coaches and mentors that even this year the Talent Campus has managed to involve. In fact, the initiative will take place in the rooms offered by the important partners of the project: Silca Spa, leading company in the key manufacturing business, and Digital Accademia, training branch of H-Farm.
The youth selected are 45: 30 from Veneto (14 from Treviso, 6 from Uls7, 9 from Venice, 2 from Padua, Rovigo and Vicenza respectively and 1 from Verona) and the other 15 from the European partners of the project (5 from Rotterdam, 5 from Buje in Croazia and 5 from Valencia). The candidates, however, were more than 200, collected also thanks to the promotion of a number of partners. Among them were Federmanager and 4 Universities (Ca’ Foscari, IUAV, IUSVE and the University of Padua.
“The role of the companies partner of the initiative is going to be paramount – said Antonella Caldart of the Youth Policies Department of the Vittorio Veneto municipality – especially after the Campus. They will be able to offer the talented young people the chance to actively put into practice their skills and test their competences through internships and work experiences.”
Many companies of the area have already confirmed their participation in the project such as Ascopiave, Linea Light, PAT and Marcolin, and many more are adhering to the initiatives in these days.
