Key blanks production means a complex mixture of several different technologies and articulated production where logistic flows are mastered in compliance with “lean manufacturing” principles. A balanced combination of in-house “competence centres” for developing tools and machineries and a network of external suppliers are allowing high flexibility and competitive hedge on the market place. The yearly key blanks production is stated around 240 million key blanks.
