Silca presents new business opportunities to motor repair workshops at Mechanex

Vittorio Veneto,
Silca @ Mechanex 2014

The automotive sector is well and thriving and always looking for innovative opportunities to increase its business. Silca had its say in this respect by attending for the first time Mechanex, the regional flagship trade show for motor professionals, which took place in Sandown Park in Surrey (UK) on 11 and 12 November.
With its array of products dedicated to the automotive trade, Silca is offering motor repair workshop technicians and proprietors an entirely new business perspective. Most of the visitors showed great interest in the comprehensive solutions offered by Silca and are now considering the idea of including key replacement to their existing range of services.
In fact, Silca has made vehicle key replacement accessible, both in terms of user-friendliness and cost, and more importantly a highly profitable business, thanks to its wide variety of automotive keys, covering most of the car, motorcycle and truck models currently on the market, its ground-breaking multi-functional transponder GTI and its easy to use and constantly updated transponder device RW4 Plus.
Its most recent double-station electronic key cutting machine Futura has revolutionized the business altogether, making key cutting suitable not only for experienced locksmiths, but for virtually anyone. It is no wonder that attendees of the Mechanex were amazed how easy it is to use Futura, not just for key cutting but also for identifying the correct key and equipment to utilize.
The two day event brought to the Silca stand over 2.000 visitors and was a great opportunity to introduce the gainful business of automotive key replacement into a new, interesting channel.
